As urban areas grow and the average land size decreases, there has been an increase in the demand for safe and dedicated recreational areas. Elastan® is used for playgrounds as a binder for rubber crumbs. The ‘soft-fall’ or wet-pour’ surface makes it much safer for our kids to play. Redox is the Australian distributor for Elastan® by BASF.

Elastan® is MDI-based (Methylenediphenyl diisocyanate) and is commercially available in the form of one and two component systems. Elastan® is eco-friendly with a fine-tunned open time and curing speed. With excellent binding properties the polyurethane system is popular for various applications and can be used as binders for running tracks, headliner adhesives, sandwich panel construction and chip foam binders.

Redox distributes Elastan® to customers across Australia. Through our dedicated team of plastics specialists, we deliver real value and a fresh approach to meeting our customer’s needs in a dynamic market. Redox is a leading plastics distributor, active in engineering plastics, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PP, PVC, BOPP film, PET film, styrenics, polyols, compounding resins, polymers specialty additives and more. Our principals are leaders in their respective products, allowing us to deliver the widest range of quality materials at a price which allows you to thrive.
