How has Coronavirus changed your role? There is now, even more, focus on safety, particularly hygiene and social distancing. My role now includes ensuring that my co-workers are also safe and are following the rules in place to prevent possible COVID outbreak here at work. These factors are always at the front of my mind when I am performing my daily responsibilities.

How does your role work with our manufacturing plant? Because I look after Burr Court QC / QA and support our manufacturing, my routine is not set. Most of the time when I arrive at work I already have urgent tasks to complete. As my duties are very dynamic, I prioritise my tasks and manage my time effectively. Of utmost importance though, is ensuring quality in our products which means we continue to be a priority choice for our customers.

What is your favourite element? Carbon, as it is a foundational element for life.

Any advice for someone looking to enter into your profession? It is important that the person is interested in this career, has the hunger to learn and a passion for quality in manufacturing.

How does Redox foster the kind of leadership that embraces and encourages constant improvement? The culture of the company encourages open communication, leading to an empowered workforce where people’s opinions and suggestions are considered in the decision-making process.

With service at the heart of everything Redox does, what strategies does Redox employ to stay ahead of its competition? We develop great working relationships with our customers and we are always eager to find solutions that result in return business.

What do you like to do in your spare time, what makes you most happy? I’m very family orientated, often hosting dinners or organising group holidays. In my spare time, you’ll find me going on long walks or at the easel, working on my latest art piece.
