Common use-cases: Redox Potassium Chloride is a fully water-soluble fertilizer. It can be applied directly to the soil and via fertigation, having advantages of high potassium content and its rapid availability to plants in the form of K+. It is the most widely applied K fertilizer because of its relatively low cost, and it includes more K than most other sources, but it should not be used on salt sensitive crops, where soil salt levels are high or increasing, or where irrigation water has high salt levels. Potassium in the plant is essential to translocate the sugar (glucose) produced from photosynthesis to all parts of the plant, as well as improving water stress and disease resistance.
